Eric and Francesca

Eric & Francesca

These two actually met at the NowHaus. She, a psychedelic therapist with a background in visual effects and he, a mindfulness practitioner with a background in technology design, came together in love and purpose: providing a nurturing inner and outer space for personal growth.

Eric designed and built the NowHaus but his personal journey started in the early social technology industry, where identity and self-expression through social networks seemed paramount. However, over time he became disillusioned as the online world felt increasingly artificial and disconnected; so too did his life in it. So, he made the decision to step away and embark in pursuit of authenticity and truth. Through this transformative process, he realized that the identity he once sought to construct and uphold was merely a part of the larger path he was meant to traverse. He then took steps to transcend it, shedding limiting beliefs and rigidities while embracing uncertainty and the flow. Now, he understands that the journey from a self-defined individual to a state of “no self” was made possible specifically by both embracing and then moving beyond the constructs of identity.

Francesca started her career as a visual effects artist but quickly found herself drained, anxious and unfulfilled. After breaking to spend some years in Asia as a photojournalist, she moved to Boulder to study mindfulness and somatic therapy. Since then, she’s been a psychotherapist and facilitator helping people heal and shift old patterns and realign with a sense of aliveness and purpose. She promotes personal and social healing through the integration of neuroscience and contemplative practices grounded in the wisdom of the body and our connection to nature. In her free time, she enjoys wildcrafting medicinal herbs, chatting with archetypes and playing with animals.
